1. About PairMuse
PairMuse is a couples questions and games app. These Terms govern your use of PairMuse and related services.
2. Using PairMuse
You may use PairMuse only in accordance with applicable law and these Terms. You are responsible for the information you enter into the app and for ensuring that your use of PairMuse does not violate the rights of another person.
3. Together and Paired modes
Together mode is designed for play on one device. Paired mode connects two users and synchronizes game state between their devices. Couple Codes and pairing features should only be shared with the person you intend to connect with.
4. Availability and changes
We may change, improve, suspend or discontinue features of PairMuse from time to time. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available or free from interruptions, errors or delays.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- attempt to access another user's data without permission;
- interfere with or disrupt PairMuse or its backend services;
- use automated systems to abuse, overload or probe the service;
- circumvent security or access controls; or
- use PairMuse for unlawful, harmful or fraudulent purposes.
6. Content and relationship decisions
PairMuse prompts and games are provided for entertainment and conversation. They are not professional, medical, psychological, legal or relationship advice. You remain responsible for your own decisions, communications and actions.
7. Intellectual property
PairMuse, its original design, branding, text, game presentation and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except where permitted by law, you may not copy, redistribute, reverse engineer or commercially exploit PairMuse without permission.
8. Third-party services and advertising
PairMuse relies on third-party technology providers including Supabase, Expo, Apple, Google Firebase, Google AdMob, Google's User Messaging Platform and Cloudflare. Their services may be subject to their own terms and policies. PairMuse may display third-party advertising through Google AdMob. Use of the iOS app may also be subject to Apple's applicable App Store terms and license agreement.

10. Disclaimer and liability
PairMuse is provided with reasonable care, but no digital service can be guaranteed to be continuously available or completely error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
11. Termination
You may stop using PairMuse at any time. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, other users, comply with law or respond to serious violations of these Terms.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when PairMuse changes or when legal requirements change. The current version will be made available on this page together with the date of the latest update.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable German law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections that apply under the law of their country of residence.
